I just want to say kudos to the very friendly and efficient staff. Please Hidden Valley, if you could not serve a delicious buffet then please JUST CONSIDER HAVING AN ALA CARTE RESTAURANT that serves good food. There were foreigners who got the day tour with us that day, and I feel bad for them, what if they think Filipino food tasted so bad like that? Argh. We would have enjoyed the lunch buffet if served that way. To Hidden Valley kitchen, if you want food on a budget, You could have just served Fried Bangus or Tilapia, Steamed Veggies like Talong, Okra and Kangkong, Lechon Kawali, Fried Chicken and a tasty Pansit WITH SOY SAUCE AND MEAT. I hope the management would be able to do something about it or else its so sad to not being able to experience Hidden Valley ever again. I mean, if they want to serve a buffet on a budget, they should lower their rate, paying 2800 as an entrance fee and be served a lousy buffet is not fair. Their chef must have been having a bad day for cooking those foods terribly. Just sweet banana that has a burnt taste, nata de coco and gelatin cubes. Lunch menu was monggo soup, Pansit Bihon that tasted like they only put water in it, I didnt even see a piece of meat lol., Lumpia Gulay that was overcooked, Sweet Sour Fish which they used Mud fish not even dory, Menudo that looked full of ketchup and cheap hotdogs, Chicken Mushroom that tasted old and overcooked, and Kare kare that only had beef skin, fat and tripes. They served us mediocre carinderia level food (heck, one of the carinderia here at our place tasted even better). Warning: THEIR LUNCH BUFFET IS THE WORST BUFFET I ever had my entire life. ![]() We paid 2800 per person, and that hefty price is not worth it. ![]() If not only for the lovely pools and the friendly and competent staff, I would have given this resort a 1 star rating.
